Hey Y’all I don’t know about you but here in New Jersey it is absolutely freezing. We’re lucky if the temps are reaching double digits these days. In the winter there is nothing more I look forward to then coming home and getting cozy + warm! Everything in the collage just adds an extra touch of coziness in my home! I am even thinking of adding a few more things to my apartment to cozy it up some more like the inspo pics above. I am a strong believer of your home being a sanctuary. Keep scrolling to see the 10 cozy ways to spend winter nights at home.

Catch up on a Favorite Show.

I am not even going to lie, I absolutely love TV. It’s so peaceful to watch and escape reality. I enjoy lighting a candle, cuddling up on the couch, + catching up on a fun drama, murder mystery, or even a little reality tv. Some of my favs are HTGAWM, Scandal, SVU + Chicago PD, Pretty Little Liars, Vampire Diaries, Real Housewives, Fuller House. My new obsession is Reign, it is so good.

Take a Bubble Bath.

Oh goodness, there is nothing better then putting on a good playlist, sipping some wine, and enjoying a nice bubble bath. I love love love this bubble bath, it leaves my skin so smooth and has such a great scent!

Pamper Yourself.

During the winter months my already dry skin gets extra dry. So enjoy doing some extra skin care, throwing on a fun mask some lip scrub, and making sure my pedicure color is still looking good. It’s honestly so important to not neglect your skincare and self during the winter.

Enjoy A Book.

One of my New Years goals is to start reading more, and I love me a good victorian romance drama, even more if theres some mystery in it. It’s almost like a meditation to take a digital break and get lost into a book,

Make a Cup of Tea.

A warm cup of black tea is so soothing and relaxing. It puts everything at ease, and it doesn’t hurt drinking it out of a cute mug!

Cozy Slippers + a Nice Robe.

My mom gifted me the softest robe for Christmas and I live it in everyday. I love how long it is! Check it out here. And there is nothing better then cozy warm slippers on your feet after a long day. How cute are these UGG ones!

Call Family or Friend.

While I’m cozied up with a million pillows and blankets, there’s nothing better then catching up with my family who are 3,000 miles away. It’s nice to pick up the phone and actually speak to someone vs sending a quick text message. Especially for the older folks in our life. I look forward to these phone calls everyday, it makes me feel so much closer to home as well.

Get Creative.

Write a poem, draw a picture, color in a coloring book, paint. do something to get your creative juices flowing. Even if its playing with makeup, or styling some new outfits!

I love Pinterest so much, but honestly sometimes I feel like I barely have time during the day to go through it. So it’s nice to to lay in bed and scroll through my feed and see new nail ideas, apartment decor, new outfits, weight loss tips, etc. Pinterest has it all, and I love having leisure time to go through all my new DIY ideas.      Go to Bed Early.

When all else fails, you’re exhausted from a long day, freezing cold, or just sleepy then head to bed early. Wrap yourself up in flannel sheets, play some calming music, + catch up on some sleep.

What are some of your favorite ways to spend the night at home?
